Zbrush Doodlin'

With my recent graduation from the DigiPen MFA program, I have found myself with some free time to just make art without the worry of having to turn it in. Decided to spend the 30 minute ferry ride from Seattle to Bainbridge doodlin' in zbrush. Of course it ended up being a dragon bust. The images below are what I got done on the boat, but hoping to spend some more time on this guy.

For my character creation class we are working on head studies. I chose to do one of my sister. Here is the WIP. We were given a base mesh in maya and after some fiddling I have taken it into Zbrush to get more detail.

As I am about to start my second and final year of grad school, I have decided that a blog for my projects and personal work was long past due. I am a MFA student at the Digipen Institute of Technology hoping to soon work as a creature and character designer for the film, animation and video game industries.
 
And with that I shall leave you with some Gilly fan art.
